Wayne Yeager - Campaign Co-Chair
I have lived in the Chambersburg community my whole life, and over the years I have seen Menno Haven grow into a thriving Continuing Care Retirement Community. I joined the Menno Haven Board of Directors ten years ago and I have never looked back. When asked to Co-Chair the Capital Campaign, Wayne knew that God was calling him to serve a community that was built on serving it’s residents.
Lynn Lerew - Campaign Co-Chair
In the summer of 1963, after completing my Bachelor of Music Education degree, I moved to the Chambersburg community. I was given the opportunity to serve as the high school band director at the Chambersburg Area Senior High School, where I later transitioned to the Director of Human Resources. Throughout this time I married, had two children, and completed two masters’ degrees. After retiring, my wife Roberta and I decided to search for a retirement community; however, she passed in 2008 prior to us moving. While living in Chambersburg, I watched Menno Haven grow and become a highly respected organization in the community. In 2017, I decided to make the move along with my son Rick. When I was asked to Co-Chair, I couldn’t say no. Rick and I have made Menno Haven our home for life, and it is important to me that they have all of the necessary resources to continue serving their residents.
